Sacred to the beloved memory of General George Jones nine years Commandant of the Portsmouth Division of Royal Marines who died deeply lamented, January 30th 1857, aged 77 years. His remains are interred at Milton near Portsmouth, also of Caroline widow of the late General George Jones, who died February 15th 1883, aged 87 years.
