Newtown (Fareham) Pulpitt 1914-1919 United Kingdom Holy Trinity Church, Newtown, Fareham, Hants Gunner George Wallace Pyle, RMA, RMA/1935(S) AM+DG, This pulpit is given by William Pyle of Hoegate and his wife and family in proud and loving memory of their eldest son and brother George Wallace gunner RMA who died of wounds received at Wassigny nr St Quentin on 12 October 1918 and whose body lies at Vadencourt Cemetery, France, aged 23 years. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends, John 15.13

North China 1 Royal Marines UK Portsmouth Memorial located Victoria Park, Portsmouth, Hampshire. Inscription: This bell was taken at the capture of the North West Fort Taku, June 17th 1900, and brought home by HMS 'Orlando'. The memorial is erected by the officers and men in memory of their comrades who lost their lives during the commission.
North China Naval Brigade Memorial Royal Marines UK Portsmouth Also in memory of those Officers and Men who died during the commission 1897 - 1901. Inscription: Erected by Admiral E H Seymour, G.C.B., the Captain, Officers and Ship's company of HMS 'Centurion' in memory of the Officers and Men of that ship who were killed or died of wounds received doing their duty in the Naval Brigade, North China, 1900.
